Michelle Brown — Owner
Michelle is the owner of Hot Fired Arts and has been inspiring creativity for decades. She taught art for 19 years in Montgomery and Frederick Counties before purchasing Hot Fired Arts from its original owner in 2016.

Her passion lies in creating a safe, welcoming, and relaxed environment where people of all ages feel comfortable exploring their creative side. Michelle believes that everyone is creative — sometimes they just need a little encouragement and the right space to discover it.
Our Creative Crew
Our amazing studio team — Michelle, Archer, Zoe, Tobias, Heather, Jaden and Aynsley — are here to guide, encourage, and support you throughout your creative experience. Whether you’re painting pottery for the first time or experimenting with fused glass or clay, our staff is always happy to help spark ideas and answer questions.

Meet Our Studio Pups
Suni
Resident furry Speed-bump at 15 years young. Sleeps most of the time but is still game for head stretches, belly rubs and the occasional wet kisses. Gives us all much needed comfort and puppy love!
Moxie
Still guiding us from across the Rainbow bridge. March 2010 - June 2025. Her energy and snuggles are greatly missed.
